Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)

The Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is a two-year undergraduate program designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills in pharmaceutical sciences. At KAY JAY COLLEGE OF PHARMACY & TECHNOLOGY, we are committed to delivering a curriculum that meets the standards set by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and equips students for a successful career in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.

Pharmacy plays a vital role in the healthcare system, focusing on the preparation, dispensing, and appropriate use of medications for therapeutic purposes. The D.Pharm program is the minimum qualification required to become a Registered Pharmacist in India, opening doors to opportunities in hospitals, retail pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, and more.
It's important to note that D.Pharm is distinct from Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy), which is a postgraduate-level program. Our D.Pharm course offers a solid introduction to pharmaceutical sciences without any specializations, making it an ideal starting point for students interested in building a career in pharmacy or pursuing higher studies in the field.
